    They are open every morning till 22Jan2016 due to the gliding championships being held here

    I really enjoyed the museum - it's full of an eclectic mix of memorabilia and artifacts as well as some fascinating aircraft (and bits of aircraft). It's also lovingly run by what seems to be a dedicated community of volunteers that look after you and can answer any questions. Very positive experience - your mileage may vary if you're not an aero buff but I'd encourage you to give it a try even then.

    A small but very enthusiastic and knowledgeable team are operating this amazing peice of local history. They offer oportunity to take a joy flight on one of the three flying aircraft subject to pilot availability and airport operational requirements. Well worth a look.
